The intention of Transmutation is to transmute negative thought form energy. Our thoughts and the thoughts of others create a real energy and the negative ones can hang around in our field or our environment and even make us feel heavy, ill or uncomfortable. Most of us can remember how we felt after spending time with someone who complains or worries a lot. The sounds in this recording work with your intention to clear your field or your environment of this negative energy.
The music for Transmutation is recorded in one track with 3 main sections of approximately 20 minutes each. The sound in the first section is intended to break up the negative energy you choose to release or that is ready to go. In the second section, the voice and the wind move this energy out and up. In the third section, the sound fills these spaces with light.
The guitar carries the tones of the chakras built into two chords based on perfect fifths for balance and stability. The tone F# is used, instead of F, for the heart chakra to stimulate both the heart and the sacred heart (thymus area). The sound of the drum grounds you while the other sounds break up and begin to move the energy. Three crystal bowls are used in this recording. The first one you hear is a frosted bowl pitched at the note C, which represents the root chakra. The second crystal bowl appears before the end of the first section. It is a clear crystal bowl with 2 pitches, A#, the fundamental pitch, representing the crown chakra and pineal gland and D, the harmonic or high pitch. The third crystal bowl has platinum on the outside and gold on the inside and is pitched at F#. The platinum represents feminine aspects and the gold, masculine, and the sound of this bowl brings these aspects of ourselves into balance. The Tibetan singing bowl is two or three hundred years old and is a wise old soul. A song pod is a little egg-shaped metal instrument, just the right size for the palm of the hand. When shaken, whatever is inside creates a sound that is pure light.
About the artist:
Sharon Carne has Bachelor of Music program at Queen's University plus a Master of Fine Arts degree in guitar performance from the University of Minnesota. She has taught guitar and theory at Red Deer College plus at The Conservatory at Mount Royal College in Calgary. She has also attended Jonathan Goldman's Healing Sound Intensive in Colorado and did a self-development program with the Institute for Contemporary Shamanic Studies and attended Brooke Medicine Eagle's Wakantia. Her passion for healing sound has its foundation in a successful 30 year career of teaching music combined with her own spiritual journey of transformation. In addition to being one of Calgary's most respected classical guitar teachers for children, Sharon has enjoyed performing for many audiences at recitals, receptions and special events throughout Alberta. As for her spiritual journey, it was triggered by a near death experience as a child that solidly placed Sharon's feet on a mystical path. The combination of her expertise in music and sound, a spiritual transformation and her inner guidance has led Sharon to the creation of music to assist others who are healing or on their own spiritual journey. |
