Author Biography:
Denene Derksen has been a lover of reading since preschool. She is a practicing shaman, speaker, and teacher, with a background in drama instruction and wholistic health. Writing this book was a wonderful, alchemical process for Denene, magically tying together much of what she has learned since “falling out of the ordinary” herself in 2001. Her curiosity about the true cause of disease, and her search for fulfillment and passion in life led her to study Shamanism. Traveling to Peru, practicing and teaching about reciprocity, and wine with chocolate are a few of Deneneʼs favourite passions.
