About the authors:
Chungliang Al Huang is the founder-president of Living Tao Foundation and the Director of Lan Ting Institute. The Living Tao Foundation is a non-profit educational and cultural arts foundation whose intention is to support everyone in enjoying healthier, more creative and productive ways of living.. An internationally recognized Tai Ji master and authority of East/West synthesis, he has been a research fellow at the Academia Sinica and a member of the World Academy of Art and Science. He lives in Urbana, Illinois.
Jerry Lynch, Ph.D., has a master's and a doctorate from Penn State University, and has taught at the University of Colorado and Stanford. He is a teacher, lecturer and consultant to major US corporations and is founder of the Tao Center for Human Performance in Santa Cruz. He is the former Sports Psychologist for men's and women's Basketball, Lacrosse and Soccer teams at the universities of Duke, Maryland and Stanford and continues to work with several teams nationally. His clients have included NFL athletes and Olympian competitors. Dr. Lynch is a marathoner and father of 3 sons, and is married to Jan Zeff, a natural medicine physician.
