Refund Policies Print E-mail


1. All purchased items and CDs and DVDs may be returned for a refund or replacement within 14 days of purchase assuming that the item is in good condition.
- CDs and DVDs must still be in their original packaging and un-opened.
- Opened CDs or DVDs will be accepted if and only if the customer can demonstrate that the item was damaged in shipping or is un-playable.
- CDs or DVDs with scratches on the recorded surface are non-returnable. In these situations, Self Connection reserves the right to verify returned product information before issuing a refund or replacement.

2. Unopened items in good condition may be returned for a store credit after 14 days.

3. Proof of purchase is required for any refund or exchange or store credit.

4. No credit or exchange or refund will be issued after 30 days unless approved by a manager.

5. Refunds for returned products will include the full purchase price and GST but will exclude original shipping fees.

6. The cost of shipping any merchandise back to Self Connection is the responsbility of the customer.

7. Self Connection is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the return shipment of your order.

8. LIMITED WARRANTY - EXCEPT FOR THIS LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY, SELF CONNECTION BOOKS INC. MAKES NO WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, GUARANTEE OR CONDITION RESPECTING ANY NEW PRODUCT, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, AND ANY SUCH WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, GUARANTEE OR CONDITION IS EXCLUDED. SELF CONNECTION BOOKS INC’S SOLE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS IS LIMITED TO RETURN AND REFUND AS STATED ABOVE AND IN OUR RETURNS POLICY.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY - IN NO EVENT WILL SELF CONNECTION BOOKS INC. BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER FOR ANY SPECIAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSSES, INJURY, COSTS OR EXPENSES OF ANY NATURE RELATED TO ANY PRODUCT. SELF CONNECTION BOOKS INC.'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PRICE OF SUCH PRODUCT PLUS CDN$5.00 SHIPPING CHARGES.
